In the name of God Amen I John Strudwicke of the prish of Wisborough Green in the County of Sussex Yeoman being sicke & weake of body but of sound & pfect minde & memroy thanks be given to God & considering the uncertainty of this world and being willing to settle & make things in order doo make & ordaine this my present last will & testament in mannor and forme following first & principally I commend my soul into the hands of God hopeing & assuredly believing to receive full & free pardon & forgiveness of all my sins by the merritts of my saviour Jesus Christ and my body I committ to the earth to bee decently buryed by my extrix hereafter named and as to the disposition of such temporall estate as itt hath pleased God to bestow upon mee I give & bequeath in manner & forme following (that is to say)
First I will that all my debts & funerall charges shall be discharged by my extrix here after named
Item I give and bequeath unto my son John Strudwicke when so soon as hee shall attaine unto the full age of one & twenty years all and every my lands & tenemants called or known by the name or names of Lowfold Lughurst & Cockinge situate lying and beinge in the prish of Wisborough Green together with al & singular my premises & appurtenances thereunto belonging or any wayes apprtaining
Item I give unto my son William Strudwicke three hundred & fifty pounds of lawfull money of England
