In the name of god amen the xvj day of Septembr in the year or Lord 1591 I Alice Strudwick of -fold in the parish of Kerdford in the county of Sussex widowe being sicke in bodie but whole in minde and of good & perfect remembrance thanks be to allmightie god do make and ordaine this my testament containing this my last will in manner and forme following that is to say
I commite my soule to allmightie god my maker and redeemer – hope of resurecion in the laste day through the meririts and blood – his only son Jesus Christ my – and redeemer and my bodie to be buried in the church yarde of Kerdford aforesaid

Item I give and bequeath one cowe to be – amongst Henry Younge children which he hath by my – – in the keeping of the said John Younge their father
Item I give and bequeath unto Alice Philp my daughters daughter – wch is in the keeping Robert Philp her father Item I give and bequeath unto Loraine(?) Morley a heifer bullocke of two yeres of age.
