to my wife Joan Mercer for life all my household goods and two low rooms and two chambers called the New End being the north part of messuage and outer row of apple trees in garden next the lane leading to (Mr) Valler’s house and ground between said trees and said lane, use of brewhouse, furnace and oven and of pump and necessary house;
to my kinsman Thomas Mercer son of my brother John Mercer my freehold tenement etc. in Chiddingfold late in the occupation of Thomas Elliott and now in the occupation of Henry Strudwick which I bought from John Stillwell of Cosford, Thursley, gentleman;
to my kinsman Thomas Mercer £5;
to my kinsman Anthony Mercer son of my brother Thomas Mercer £5;
to my kinswomen Ann Mercer, Jane Mercer and Sarah Mercer daughters of my brother Thomas £2 10s each;
to my brother John Mercer 10s p.a.;
to my kinsmen John and Anthony Mercer sons of my brother John £5 each;
to my kinswomen Elizabeth Mercer and Mary Mercer daughters of my brother John £2 10s each;
